Hey Scirasco, welcome in this board!!!! Prashant is one of my favourite guitar players and he is like a brother for me!!! Yes I'm in love with my team A.S. Roma....we rules!!!! About the tone, I use a lot of mids, with not too much distortion (on my MarkIV the mids are about 9!!!!). I think that this could be the key for a liquid tone! I've recorded the JAM album, using the Mesa Rec Pre, directly into my audio card. The tone is pretty good, but obviously I prefer a real cabinet, with a mic in front of it!!!!
Ciao Ale

Ciao Ale do you still remember your Mesa Rec Pre settings? I just bought a Mesa Rec Pre the other week for direct recording. I'm loving the sound. But I'm still fiddling with the controls/eq because they seem to react differently from other amps I use, esp. the Treble and Mid.

Carlo unfortunately I don't remember the settings, but, i can remember that I used a plug in of protools to recreate the graphic EQ settings of my markIV. I cutted the 750hz frequencies!!! Ciao Ale
