Listening to a lot of your licks and phrasing one would think you use Hybrid Picking. If so, how much do you rely on this techniqe? I am a hybrid picker myself, so I was just curious wether or not you used it.
Speaking on Hybrid Picking, what do you think of Brett Garsed?

Yes i use Hybrid picking a lot!! I only use my 2nd and 3rd finger on my right hand(i don't know the finger's names in english..sorry). I don't use the nails. I've studied a lot of Albert Lee stuff, and now for me is natural to use this technique to jump to different strings or just to have a more percussive sound.
Brett Garsed is a master of this technique, but he as a different approach. I love his playing.
Ciao

Very cool!!
ahh... no biggie... you teach me licks and I'll teach you, well....your fingers. lol
Thumb - Index - Middle - Ring - Pinky. lol
Yea, Brett is probaly my biggest inspiration.
I'm always looking for new players to inspire me, and you have honestly became one over the last little bit. I still remember when I found your cd on Guitar9. lol I know the internet is full of "us" - the fans praising the guitarist we love, but without the mellow dramatic praise.... I just want you to know that your music is truly inspirational. Thanx and God Bless!

I'm hybrid picker myself....i love the smooth sound and dynamics you can get from it. I love Ale's application of it...he can get a really groovy, percussive sound with it ;D
